At present, all the information you will find on this site relates to our 60th (Diamond Anniversary) Maple Leaf Ball. We are currently assembling a fantastic team of volunteers to help organise the next Ball – to be held in London in 2014.

On behalf of the board of the Maple Leaf Trust I would like to extend our sincere thank you to everyone who played a role in making the Maple Leaf Ball Diamond Anniversary a spectacular event for the Canadian community. We are grateful to our guests, our sponsors, our auction item donors and of course our charming Master of Ceremonies Dan Snow and our most excellent auctioneer Nick Bonham and all the volunteers on the committee. Brandi and her band of musicians and the Jacquin Trio provided exquisite entertainment. Our Royal Canadian Mounted Police were the “icing on the cake” to complete this very Canadian affair.
We do hope that the evening was an enjoyable one for you. The ball was a fabulous success with proceeds raised for the trust in excess of £100,000 because of the generosity of the Canadian community.
The trustees are pleased to direct the funds to the Veterans’ Support Committee and to the Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund. This provides a meaningful way for supporters of the trust to honor our servicemen who served in WW2 and also to promote Canada’s future by giving the opportunity to young scholars to study at UK universities.
